The men’s and women’s golf programs are charging into the 2026-2027 NCAA Division I athletic season with revamped rosters and an ambitious tournament schedule across the Mid-Atlantic region. Both programs compete out of the Metro Conference, with a mix of veteran senior leadership and a fresh group of young talent.

Head Coach Kevin Farrell and Assistant Coach Brent Will continue to guide both squads,  anchoring a golf tradition that hosts regional competition and local home events at venues, such as Quail Valley Course.

The men's squad enters the fall season, boasting an experienced 11-player roster featuring a strong contingent of senior leaders. The Mountaineers are led on the by veterans Santiago Bonequi (C '27), Force Kosalutta (C '27) and Fisher Coleman-Sayer (C '27).

The upper-class students are supported by a competitive underclass core, including Jack Bagley (C '29), Brent Glah (C '29), Justin Mehall (C '29) and Tristan Smith (C '29), alongside Tad Collett (C '30).

The team opened at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational, followed by the River Run Collegiate, hosted by Davidson on Sept. 21 and 22. The men finished 13th overall with a total score of 928. Kosalutta delivered an impressive individual weekend performance, pacing the Mount to finish tied for 27th place (+7).

Most recently, the men participated in the Testudo Cup in Ijamsville, Maryland (Oct. 5-6) and the Bucknell Invitational in Pennsylvania. They still have a trip to South Carolina planned for the Fripp Island Invitational.

The women’s squad, on the other hand, underwent a major roster change, with nine active competitors heavily driven by a wave of underclass students. Graduate student Kate Watanasiripong (C '27) provides crucial tournament experience to a roster featuring mostly underclass players. They have a large first-year class including Lanta Chanthakad (C '30), Arianna Gonzalez (C '30), Makenna Kamnikar (C '30) and Ally Legg (C '30), alongside Camryn Hoff (C '29) and Summer Stroop (C '29).

The young lineup is focused on building consistency ahead of the spring championship push, aiming to build upon their 6th-place finish at the previous MAAC (now METRO) Championships.

After starting their season at the Bucknell Invitational, the women co-hosted the local Charge at the Quail tournament in nearby Littlestown, Pennsylvania. They then competed in the Autumn Harvest hosted by Lehigh receiving 8th place and the Navy Fall Invite taking home 9th.

Next up on the tees, the women's program travels to the Lehigh Invitational in New Jersey as they close out to their fall portion of the season.
